A glorious weekend spent with family and nature.
On Sunday a squirrel joined us for lunch. Thankfully Prince our Flatcoat Retriever was flat out after a long run in the woods and didn’t notice the furry little creature.

The Vultures are back. Counted 11 vultures soaring above the Creek last night-a perfect end to Earth Day. As I watched, I felt incredibly fortunate to experience such a spectacular show, Mother Nature at it’s best.

Beautiful start to Earth Day, the birds were singing, Jasmine was feeling better and was able to go back to school and my husband and I managed to sneak a short walk to the woods before grabbing a late breakfast.

We were really pleased putting out the garbage today. Just half a bag of garbage – not bad for a family of five, huge improvement! This is such an easy and effective way to cut down on your garbage.
