ART NOURISHES THE HUMAN SOUL

Art and nature together, create a magical way to connect children with Mother Earth and help the child understand their place in the world.

ART is for me, a way of expressing my innermost feelings. The love and passion I feel for Mother Earth, for Life, runs deep within my heart, flowing through me-pulsating surges of pure joy. This joy melts into liquid and becomes the very ink with which I draw and write.

The Creative Pulse within Us is God’s Creative Pulse Itself

ART is a way of self-expression, communication, and our desire for connection with other humans across centuries and cultures.

Storytelling with Stick Characters: The fallen branch was once part of the living tree – a story in itself. Now we are giving new life to the fallen branch with the help of a child’s imagination.

ART is an essential part of life and human experience

Touch is one of the strongest sensations of curiosity in a child. Being able to touch something to get the same feeling that the artwork is presenting is an important notion to a child. We incorporate many natural items found from our local environment such as berries, pine-cones, leaves, flowers, driftwood, sticks and stones, offering a variety of different textures and forms in our outdoor nature classes.

PHOTOGRAPHY

My camera as an extension of not only my eyes but also of my heart. As my love affair with Mother Earth deepens, the more sacred these intimate moments in nature become.
