Earth Day will begin with the official book launch of my latest children’s environmental story book “We’re the little Humbugs”.
Then off to our sons Earth Day presentation on Water Preservation at the local School Education Center.
Our youngest joined the Destination Conservation at his school. He helped develop a plan on how his school could conserve water this year. Sam along with other members of the crew have been teaching other school classes about
the importance of conserving water. They have taught lessons using the Earth Globe and showed a model of how much water is actually usable on earth.
They are currently judging a Poster contest which will raise more awareness.
My husband and I are extremely proud of his commitment to the project, proving kids really are excited about wanting to help.
Followed by candle lit dinner with friends enjoying local organic produce.
