Beautiful start to Earth Day, the birds were singing, Jasmine was feeling better and was able to go back to school and my husband and I managed to sneak a short walk to the woods before grabbing a late breakfast.
A proud moment for us, our sons environmental team came second in BC with their schools Water Conservation project, held this afternoon. (Destination Conservation)
These kids were so eager to make an impact on stopping energy waste. It was great to see young kids so enthusiastic about being part of the solution.
Sam and I managed to plant up the tomato plants and the sunflowers before leaving for soccer. Great to see lot’s of cyclists out for the cycle to work week.
With my latest Little Humbugs picture book officially launched I need to set some dates for Little Humbugs book tour/events throughout the summer.
I’d like to travel down to Oregon with the family in August. Anyone recommend a good location for a Little Humbugs event?
I’d be organizing recycled crafts, storytelling, book signing, Butterfly Girl Hunt etc. If you want to recommend a location, I’ll check it out.
