Green Hour

by Marghanita on March 22, 2009

I had not heard of Green Hour until this evening when I went on Twitter.

After finishing reading “The Last Child in the Woods”  by Richard Louv last night I was left with a feeling of urgency to help. My book characters the Little humbugs are all about connecting kids to nature. I want to find like minded people so you can imagine  how I felt when I found the Green hour.

Green Hour is about connecting kids to nature with a  “Green Hour” a day — a bit of time for unstructured play and interaction with the natural world — we can set them on the path toward physical, mental, and emotional well-being. And at GREENHOUR.ORG, you’ll find inspiration and ideas to do just that. Each week they publish a fresh issue full of activities and information to help guide the exploration and focus on fun.GREENHOUR.ORG, you’ll find inspiration and ideas to do just that. Thanks Green Hour.
