Hi Stacey
Thank you so much for your comment-the forest is alive with enchanting magic and I try to capture it on camera. Nature is my passion and I want to share it, especially with children. Children are spending less time outdoors than ever before, I'd like to help in my own small way to encourage children and parents to get outdoors and enjoy the magic nature has to offer.

So thrilled we connected Robin. Thank you so much for your flattering comments-you have made my day. I cherish the time I spend in the forest, I feel at home amongst the trees and the birds. It's such a joy to meet other nature lovers.

These are some of the MOST unique, magical and stunning winter photos I've ever seen. They are absolutely mythical. I love how they snow covered trees look like people. It is sooooooooo beautiful. You do a an excellent job of not only seeing the and appreciating the "beings" in the trees but of photographing them. And the other photos just take my breath away. You ought to enter them in a photo contest. Good for you!!! So glad I came here. Robin :)

Hi Mel, thanks- lovely to hear from you. I must look out for the video-strangers in the woods. Did you get the snow fall you wished for-hope you got skiing over the holidays.
It's so lovely to hear from other Nature families, thank you.

Lovely photos! They remind me of this video we watch called "Stranger in the Woods" in which the main characters are snow drifts. It's very cute, and like your photos, makes the woods come alive and seem so personable.

What beautiful, magical photos. Michele is right -- you make the forest come alive with your words & images. I love the snow people. Thanks for sharing the beauty of snow with those of us who aren't currently seeing it! :)

Magical post! There's something almost sacred about those photos - the snow people are just stunning. We have much less snow here right now (very strange really) but I look forward to trying to find some here too!
