The art of observation. I love it! Thank you for sharing, Marghanita, just gorgeous.

I have a new garden and area to get to kknow right now. My biggest nature friends at my new home have been the birds, and my freshly planted herb garden. I would welcome some poppy friends though, fun and inspiring. Maybe I will make a scarecrow with my little girl today :)

Hi Jasmine, thank you. Listening to nature’s orchestra is one of the most beautiful things…….thrilled you have birds visiting. Happy scarecrow making with your daughter.
I love your blog and the William Blake quote: The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity… and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.

How sweet those little poppies are! Last weekend our nature friends were 6 river otters that we watched play, hunt and catch trout, and sun themselves.

How fabulous Mel, I’ve never seen river otters in the wild apart from a distance, almost too small to recognize. It must have been so much fun for the kids to watch. Wishing you more encounters with the nature friends this summer.

Today, we saw “wild” green parrots fly above us on a very urban street. I hear there are flocks of wild parrots all over Orange County. So strange – but wonderful. My little girl and I talked about how we heard them first and then looked up to see them. We also saw a “snow flower” in brilliant red on our Tahoe trip. Beautiful and unusual – it just pops up from the ground with no leaves.

WOW Michele. I’d love to see the the wild parrots-how magical for you and your daughter. Thank you for sharing Michele. xx

Dear Sweet friend, this is just magical beyond magical!! I love these little poppy people. I’ve been watching more of your youtube videos and left a comment on your page there as well. What you share with children is CRITICAL! It’s something they are completely losing in a world full of computers, cell phones, TV, ipods and more.

Who you are and what you give is badly needed in the world right now. And you are talented beyond words. Your art, your projects with kids, your photography, your magic all are extremely needed, more than you might think. Without theses things our children are lost, they have no connection to nature, creativity and magic, and live solely in a “virtual” world. Poor abandoned little souls. My heart weeps for them. YOU are needed in the world now, more than ever. I just love you. Robin

Oh Robin, all the hard work seems so worth while when I read a comment like this. Thank you so much for your beautiful compliments- I feel honored to receive such praise from someone I admire and respect so much. You have a beautiful spirit Robin and I am so so happy we have connected. As always an inspiration my lovely friend. xx
