Yesterday, I was busy trying to find just the right location to place our Native Haida Bear when a little friend appeared in the Ponderosa Pine above me.

He didn’t seem at all bothered by my presence. In fact he seemed rather intrigued.

My new bushy tailed friend was obviously trying to tell me I had found the perfect tree for the Haida Bear!!!

Moving home is never without it’s problems but making new friends makes the transition a lot easier and a lot more FUN! I look forward to sharing more magical moments with this cheeky little fellow.

This piece of Haida Art was gifted to me by a dear friend. I think he’ll love the bear’s new home.

Haida Bear Traits: Strength & Learned Humility – Motherhood & Teaching.

The spiritual connections made with the bear makes it a brother to the First People. As a brother, the bear imparts this advice to both our ancestors and us today:
* Because the bear is cautious, it encourages discernment to humankind.
* Because of a fierce spirit, the bear signals bravery to those who require it.
* Because of its mass and physical power, the bear stands for confidence and victory.
* Because it prefers peace and tranquility (in spite of its size), Bear calls for harmony and balance.
I love Haida Art and this beautiful Haida Bear looks proud and magnificent in our new garden, he is a constant reminder of my friend and his beautiful spirit.

Your squirrel photos are lovely. Where did you move to Marghanita? I wish you all the happiness in your new home.
Those pictures are amazing! What kind of camera and lens do you use?
My dear Jeanene thank you, I often think of you and the boys now that we are looking after horses. How are they doing? We moved just 10 minutes from our old house but we’re now right in the countryside. It’s more rural which the children and I love. Although my 18yr old would prefer to live in the city!!!
Hi Sheila
Thank you for your kind comments. I use a Canon Rebel. Would love a better lens though!!!!!!! This cheeky little character has already captured my attention on a daily occurrence. I love photographing nature-it never ceases to amaze and enchant me.
