I have always loved dandelions
I love drawing them, observing the butterflies and other insects that visit them. And my favourite thing to do is to dance barefoot amongst them – Dancing with the Dandelions
Or simply just being with them, doing nothing
Maybe that’s why my book characters love dandelions too!
Chloe the Butterfly Girl Fairy loves to visit the Orchard.
A place to play and pick dandelions for her friends…
The bright golden-yellow flowers make Chloe very happy.
Chloe flies over to find Lucy (the bird keeper) and gives her a bunch of dandelions.
Lucy makes Chloe a beautiful dandelion crown.

Now I’m a Dandelion Princess giggles Chloe.
And off they go insearch for a seeded dandelion…
…and make fairy wishes…
Children also love dandelions, infact it is one of the most popular plants to play with.
We love dandelions and we know how sacred they are to the bees and other insects.
The dandelions are the pollinator’s best friend, they are the first spring food for the bees.
