An Alternative Snowman

A lonely tree stump is transformed into a Happy snowman…thanks to Samuel.

Armed with an old squeezy bottle filled with food coloring-Samuel dashes outside again for more snow fun.

Painting in the snow.

We had never even thought about this fantastic outdoor activity until @activekidsclub mentioned it.

All you need are some old squeezy bottles and spray bottles – (I love the spray bottles -you get an airbrush effect). Fill the bottles with water and some food coloring-wrap up, then head outdoors for some serious fun in the snow! Suitable for all ages including ADULTS!!!!

We really didn’t want to go back indoors but our fingertips were aching – good excuse to warm them up with a yummy hot chocolate.

Can’t wait to do it all again this weekend- Jasmine want’s in on the action. (Hoping the snow will stick around).

What would your child like paint in the snow?

And finally for my special outdoor friends who don’t have any snow-here’s s0me snow love….

I’m really stoked to do this with my little cousins when they get home for their christmas visit! A lot of potential for fun I think!

Thanks, it really is a fun craft to do at any age. And so many variations to try. I’m looking forward to making a few rocking birds using pastel crayons and adding feathers we found on nature walks. Have fun making your rocking birds with your little cousins.

It’s my pleasure girls-I do hope the snow sticks around for Christmas.

Wow! Made my day. I don’t know how I missed this on Friday. That’s probably one of the sweetest things anyone’s ever done with my name. It makes me want to have some cocoa! Hugs and happy solstice.
