I love the evening glow at this time of year.
The children laughing, enjoying the last days of summer freedom.
Jumping from the trampoline to swinging on the tire, family badminton tournaments, tree tag or star gazing on the tree deck, thanks to Sam, our youngest son – our teenagers still just want to be kids.
How I wish I could capture their infectious laughter and seal it in a jar so that I could open it up and release it once in a while whenever I felt sad.
The tree deck has become my favorite place in the garden. Sharing it with the birds and the squirrels early in the morning, lunchtime picnics with the children and star gazing at night.
The view form the tree deck is awesome and so inspirational. I just love writing and sketching in my new found space….Oops, I mean Samuel’s space, he’s happy to share it with his mother!
