The mystery of ruins have always enchanted me. My parents gifted my brothers and I the opportunity to explore these wild places of our homeland Scotland. We became gentle warriors defending the castles from invasion; mermaids and serpents gathering treasure to store in our hidden cave deep below the crashing waves and the thrill of finding an agate on the wild coastal shores made us scream with excitement…

…These beautiful childhood memories are precious and seem to seep into my work from time to time…like Driftwood Castles that I delight in making with the children in my nature art classes.

I am so grateful to my parents for investing their time in my childhood.

What Wild Places did you love as a child?

May your week be full of magic and mystery…love and peace to you all my beautiful friends, you are so loved, Marghanita xx
