My career as a children’s author and illustrator began back in Scotland, my homeland. I was inspired by the Highland Cattle that grazed next to our cottage in Perthshire. Toffee the Highland Cow was my first book to be published. Soon after, many followed, inspired by our new adopted homeland, British Columbia, Canada. It was my children’s books that led me into Educational world. In 2010 I ran my first outdoor classroom for 5-7yrs focusing on the joys and wonders of the Natural World which morphed into an amazing adventure of sharing the joys of learning outdoors with educators around the world.
