Excited to share my New Storytelling with Nature Workshop One
WORKSHOP 1 - WHO AM I and What is my Relationship with Nature
We begin our creative journey exploring a little bit about ourselves - who am I is quite a big question. One way to explore this, is by creating a little nature being that will represent you - your true self.
Below you will find a link to the Workshop PDF that accompanies the Workshop Video. The workshop video contains several fun, soulful activities for you to complete at your own pace.
1: Just Being in Nature - step outside and find a quiet place where you can quiet your mind. Leave your cell phone at home or keep it on flight mode so you will not be disturbed or distracted. Sit quietly and take a few deep breaths and allow yourself to relax. Be alert enough to tune into your surroundings. Be with all your senses. What do you notice, what can you see? Now close your eyes - what can you hear, smell, feel? When we reconnect with the stillness of presence, we notice Everything is Alive! We feel a connection; a oneness with tree, bird, flower, dragonfly, blade of grass. You are invited to repeat this exercise again taking a notepad or journal to record your feelings and thoughts both before and after making your “ nature being”.
2: Create your Nature Being - Representing You
3: Once you have created your little nature being, you are encouraged to revisit and delve a little deeper into the questions “who are you and what is your relationship with nature”. It is a beautiful, playful, soulful journey and I am so thrilled you are here.
